Arizona State Sun Devils have been one of the hottest teams to start the College Baseball season. The Sun Devils are 4-0, and their first seven games will all be at home in Phoenix, Arizona.

The college football team probably rubbed off some good luck on the baseball team because the football team had one of the biggest turnarounds. They won the Big 12 title and made it to the 12-team College Football Playoffs.

The men’s baseball team has a chance to do something special as well. Offensively, they’re outstanding. The bullpen is not so good, but that can improve throughout the season. One of the players who is making an impact on the Sun Devils is Brandon Compton.

Compton is one of the key contributors to the Sun Devils’ quick, great start. He was recently named the Big 12 Player of the Week. If you had seen what he did last weekend against Ohio State Buckeyes, then you would have understood how good Compton is as a player.

Throughout the weekend series, Compton collected two home runs and nine RBIs. Compton was clutch for the Sun Devils. He hit a walk-off two RBI double on Saturday and a go-ahead RBI single on Monday against Austin Peay.

Who will the Sun Devils take on next? They will wrap up their seven-game home stand as they take on Oral Roberts, which will begin on Friday at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

All three games will be streaming on ESPN Plus. The Sun Devils are looking to go for another sweep and make it a 7-0 start to the season. The Big 12 conference is in their favor so far.
