The opening night for NHL on TNT will be electric, with a doubleheader featuring the Boston Bruins vs. the Washington Capitals and the Los Angeles Kings vs. the Vegas Golden Knights.
The doubleheader is set for October 8th on TNt.
These are two exciting matchups, and we hope both games turn out to be close and tight. The Golden Knights added Mitch Marner to their team. It will be interesting to see how he will fit with his new team after spending many seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Kings are looking to get better and stronger after another tough postseason defeat to their rival, the Edmonton Oilers. The Kings have a talented roster, and they’re only getting better. A West Coast matchup between the Kings and Golden Knights could give us a playoff atmosphere to kick off the season.
Alex Ovechkin put out an unforgettable season after breaking Wayne Gretzky’s record. The Capitals had an outstanding season, but they are on a mission to make a deep run this upcoming season.
The Bruins will start their season on the road, but the next three games will be at home against the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres, and Tampa Bay Lightning. We could be seeing a feisty Bruins team getting off to a hot start.
When Hockey returns, hockey fans stop what they’re doing, put on their jerseys, and cheer loudly for their teams. Hockey fans bring a different kind of energy.
