The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 42-10 in Week 3 on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants’ offense scored five touchdown on the night. Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart had another solid performance in this preseason. Dart completed 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. He showed great composure and confidence going up against the Patriots’ defense.

Speaking of defense, the Giants’ defense played terrific. Their defensive lineman was impressive and did a good job pressuring the quarterback and making the Patriots’ offensive line uncomfortable.

The Giants improved to 3-0 and finished the preseason undefeated. We hope the Giants’ regular season will be better than last year. It all begins with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. As many want Dart to get playing time in the regular season, it will take some time, unless an injury occurs with either Wilson or Winston.

The Giants fans have a promising future if the front office and coaching staff don’t screw things up. Yes, durability will play a factor, but the decisions by the management and coaching staff are more concerning.
