The Houston Texans took care of business on Monday night, sending the Pittsburgh Steelers packing 30-6.

The Texans’ defense was superb. It’s one of the best, if not the best, defensive performances by this group this season. Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a lousy postseason game. Houston made life very difficult for him.

Texans quarterback CJ Stroud continues to cement himself as one of the best young quarterbacks in the game. He finished with 21 of his 32 completions for 250 yards and a touchdown and one interception.

The 24-year-old has tremendous leadership, and his teammates love competing with him. We are seeing a Texans team that’s on the rise. He finish

Is this the end of Rodgers? If so, it was a terrible send-off. His last throw was a pick-six to finish the game. Rodgers completed just 17 of his 33 passes for 146 yards, while being intercepted once and being sacked four times.

The Steelers’ experiment didn’t work. It was a one-and-done deal. Steelers fans and organization expected so much this season, but one thing is for sure: there’s going to be significant changes with this team during the off-season.

We don’t like to think about this, but we could also see Mike Tomlin’s last game as coach of the Steelers. Not everything lasts forever. Sometimes a chance is necessary. Tomlin should begin a new chapter with a new team. He’s done amazing things with Pittsburgh, and he deserves to prove himself all over again with a new franchise.

As for the Texans, they have Super Bowl aspirations. With this performance, people should start respecting them and take them more seriously. Houston will play the New England Patriots in the Divisional Game on Sunday, Jan 18, at 3 pm.
