Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka is returning to the PGA Tour as part of a new Returning Member Program, which would also allow three of LIV Golf’s other top stars to come back if they want.

There’s always controversy and divisiveness between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour. We’ve heard the back-and-forth commotion before. Overall, Brooks’ reinstatement is the trending news of the week for Golf. It’s excellent news for the tour. 2026 and 2027 are in good hands.

People would always make decisions. The board meetings are probably intense. Negotiations are no joke. Business in sports comes with a heavy package. It’s all about putting out the best product.

The PGA Tour is constantly changing. Brooks brings a lot of value to the game of Golf. It wouldn’t be selfish if some golfers won’t be happy with him coming back, and some don’t mind it and support him.

Koepka is a competitor. Great golfers are going to want to compete against great golfers. Therefore, he’s going to get a warm welcome from those competitors. The PGA Tour is great when all the best players come together. It makes events like the US Open, The Players Championship, and The Masters more valuable and exciting.

The future of Golf is bright. We have to look at things from a positive standpoint. Every single week, we should see competitive Golf on the golf course from the best players. Preparation to compete should be a priority at all times.

Whether Brooks is likable on a personal level or not, he’s still one heck of a golf player. Brooks must treat the new season like a Game Seven. The best way for him to respond to critics is by winning events.
