Nintendo Switch 2 sets a record by selling over 3.5 million units globally in its first four days.
Nintendo’s success is limitless. The brand’s trajectory and legacy continue to build, and there’s no stopping it.
Nintendo Switch 2 launched on June 5. It’s a remarkable accomplishment that the game system sold this many units in just one week. Nintendo Switch 2 has officially become the fastest-selling Nintendo game system ever.
You heard correctly. No other game selling that reached highs like Nintendo Switch 2. We are witnessing history.
The retail price of the game system ranges between $449 and $500. Mario Kart World hit the stores at the same time as Nintendo Switch 2 launched.
What makes Nintendo Switch 2 marketable? Consumers love to use things that have great quality. The screen for Nintendo Switch 2 has a full 1080p high definition and gives you a 4K look when you connect the system to a TV or monitor.
Some of the most anticipated and notable video games that will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in the future are Donkey Kong Bananza and MLB The Show 25. Bananza comes out on July 17, and The Show either sometime later this year or next year in 2026.
Although MLB The Show 25 came out in March, that was for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also part of the first Nintendo Switch.
Other games, such as Kirby Air Riders and The Duskbloods, will be released between this summer and 2026.
How much more can Nintendo Switch 2 sell by next year or in five years from now? The game system should be able to reach 10-20 million because they have so much momentum going on.
