Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC host Savannah Guthrie, has been reported missing after being dropped off at her Tucson-area home last Saturday evening.

Nancy is 84 years old. She was last seen at 8:30 pm. It’s a tragic news. The police have been searching Nancy’s home, trying to find anything that will help them put the pieces together. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information on Guthrie’s disappearance

Savannah and her siblings released a video pleading for someone to speak and reach out if they know anything about her mother. The siblings want their mother home soon.

“We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us,” Guthrie said.

Nancy attended St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Members of the church have been praying for her, and they’re respecting the family’s privacy as well. It’s been eight days since she was abducted, and no family deserves to go through something like this.

The sheriff’s department recently that follow-up activity is ongoing at multiple locations. However, there are no suspects, vehicles, or anything identified throughout the case.

The case of Nancy’s disappearance has become national news throughout the week. It’s a sensitive and heartbreaking story because that could’ve been anyone’s mother. Also, Savannah is a known public figure whom many people like and respect. So the nation is being sympathetic towards her and can’t imagine what she must be feeling.

The FBI will be very heavy on this case. Will they be very vague with information? Will they keep certain things to themselves? Are they going to be as transparent? There are no press release dates yet, but hopefully, some good news will come along as this case progresses.
