It’s sensational and fantastic news for fans who liked the first movie, which came out in 1995. The cast featured Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, etc. Mann will return to direct the sequel and also write the script.

Amazon, MGM Studios, and United Artists will be taking a chance on the project. Who will be part of the cast for the sequel?

Several names have been mentioned as possibilities for joining the cast. Some of these names are top-notch actors in the Hollywood industry. Leonardo DiCaprio is a name that’s been circulating. Austin Butler, who became known for the Elvis Presley movie, has also been mentioned.

However, no one has been signed to the project, and the conversation is still going. So, it will take some time to complete the entire cast.

Amazon is relentless. Their success and marketing ability speak for themselves. It will be a dynamic collaboration that we will see between Amazon and Mann. There are high expectations for the sequel to succeed due to the original film’s great success.

Mann, Jerry Bruckheimer, Scott Stuber, and Nick Nesbit will produce ‘Heat 2’ with Shane Salerno and Eric Roth serving as executive producers.

We hope to see a cast with a load of talent. Mann will definitely try to assemble the best talent of actors for this project, which will help bring his script to life.

Heat has become a classic throughout the years. It became the first movie where Pacino and De Niro shared screen time. It makes total sense that this announcement came out thirty years after the film was released.
